I have bet on countless of rounds of 21. I started working my way into the casinos when I was sixteen. I have played online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. With all that said I have still lost an abundance of money at chemin de fer. The casinos have made it very hard to defeat the game.
I still like the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have played a type of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get rich with this method or defeat the casino, however you will have an abundance of fun. This method is founded on the idea that 21 appears to be a match of streaks. When you’re on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I play basic strategy twenty-one. When I lose I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I don’t win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. Once I hit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the action back down to the original bet.
I am very disciplined and never "chicken out". It gets extremely exciting at times. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your bets go up very fast. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200per hand. I have had great runs a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the MGM a few years back with $750 after 60 mins using this method! And a couple of months ago in Atlantic City I left a table with $1200!
You have to understand that you can give away much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be surprised at the streaks you see wagering this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a $5 game.

Take five dollar paid to you, leave the original $5 bet
Bet five dollar
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total wager of $10
Bet $10
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the original 10 dollar bet
Bet $10
Leave 10 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $20
Wager 20 dollar
Take $20 paid to you, leave the first twenty dollar wager
Wager $20
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of forty dollar
Bet forty dollar
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial forty dollar wager
Wager forty dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of eighty dollar
Wager eighty dollar
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $80 bet
Bet 80 dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 160 dollar
Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the first 160 dollar bet
If you left at this point you would be up $315 !!
It’s difficult to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and lower your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
