black jack is a game that reminds me somewhat of a roller coaster. It’s a game that begins slowly, but gradually picks up speed. As you ramp up your bankroll, you feel like you are on your way to the top of the coaster and then when you don’t expect it, the bottom drops out.

As with the popular fair ride, your blackjack game will peak and things will seem to be going great for a time before it bottoms out one more time. You definitely have to be a gambler that shall be able to readjust to the ups and downs of the game mainly because the game of black jack is awash with them.
If you like the tiny coaster, a coaster that does not go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way you can enjoy the rollercoaster ride is with a much bigger bet, then hop aboard for the ride of your life on the monster coaster. The high rolling gambler will love the view from the monster roller coaster because he or she is not mentally processing the drop as they rush head first to the top of the game.
A win goal and a loss limit works well in black jack, but very few players adhere to it. In black jack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it is going up, that’s a lovely feeling, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster starts to twist and turn, you had better get out in a hurry.
If you don’t, you will not necessarily recall how much you enjoyed the view while your cash was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a crazy fun ride and your head in the clouds. As you are reminiscing on "what ifs", you won’t recount how "high up" you went but you will be reminded of that devastating fall as clear as day.
