I still enjoy the game and gamble on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have wagered on a variation of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get flush with this tactic or beat the house, however you will experience an abundance of fun. This tactic is based on the idea that 21 appears to be a game of streaks. When you’re hot your hot, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I wager with basic strategy blackjack. When I lose I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I do not win again I wager the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. As soon as I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the action back down to the original bet.
I am very disciplined and never back out. It gets extremely thrilling sometimes. If you win a few hands in sequence your bets go up very quickly. Before you know it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Palms a number of years ago with $750 after 30 mins using this method! And a few days ago in Sin City I left a game with $1200!

It’s herculean to go on a streak this long, but it often happen. And when it does you can’t alter and drop your bet or the end result won’t be the same.
