Blackjack is a game that most definitely reminds me a crazy ride. It’s a game that starts out slowly, but gradually picks up speed. As you build up your profit, you feel like you are making moves to the top of the coaster and then when you aren’t expecting it, the bottom falls.
Blackjack is so remarkably like a rollercoaster the similarities are astounding. As is the case with the popular amusement ride, your blackjack game will peak and things will appear as though they are going great for awhile before it bottoms out again. Of course you have to be a bettor that shall be able to adjust well to the ups and downs of the game mainly because the game of blackjack is awash with them.
If you like the mini coaster, one that can’t go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way you can enjoy the roller coaster ride is with a fatter bet, then hop aboard for the rollercoaster ride of your life on the monster coaster. The high rolling gambler will love the view from the monster wild ride because he/she is not mentally processing the drop as they rush headlong to the top of the game.
A win goal and a loss limit works well in blackjack, but very few players adhere to it. In black jack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it’s going up, that is all lovely, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster starts to flip and turn, you had better bail out in a hurry.
If you do not, you will not necessarily recount how much you enjoyed life while your profit was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a great ride … your head in the clouds. As you are recounting "what ifs", you won’t easily recount how "high up" you went but you will have memories of that disappointing fall as clear as day.
