The general premise of the card game is to be assigned cards adding up to 21. Each player is dealt 2 cards. When a black jack player is given a 9 or lower value card and an Ace they’ve been given a soft hand. When the gambler is dealt no Ace it is referred to as a hard hand. Doubling Down: A blackjack player might request to double down which doubles the wager they have laid. Once you’ve taken this action you can only be given one more card.
